WMA Open Photo Contest 2013 – Submissions closed

The WMA Open Photo Contest has now entered its Finalists selection stage. Organizers would like to thank everyone for their submissions. Finalists will be selected by a panel of esteemed judges including: Fung Ho Yin, Assistant Professor School of Design Hong Kong Polytechnic University Peter Lau, Managing Director Asia One Communications Group, Founder Asia One Communications Leong Ka Tai, Chairman Hong Kong Photographic Culture Association Kwong Sum Yin, CEO Clean Air Network Alex Ng, Chief Editor, Photo and DC Photo Magazines A selection of 10 - 15 photos will be posted in early August and would be open for public vote. The WMA Open Contest aims to engage the public at large on issues connected to the topic of AIR by inviting them to submit photographs and to discuss the subject. The WMA Photo Contest will maintain a photo library of images governed by Creative Commons licenses for educational uses eg. lectures and non commercial projects with appropriate attribution, as well as serving as a photographic history of contemporary Hong Kong. The winner of WMA Open Contest will receive a $20,000 cash prize. Watch this space for more updates relating to WMA Open Photo Contest 2013.
